Abbey Lodge - Killarney

The room was ridiculously cold, and the heating was barely working. I also expected at least a complimentary gesture after enduring such discomfort, but it seems like that's asking too much. Incredibly disappointing, really. I almost considered a good review, but then the hot water ran out in the morning.

Had amazing stay during our visit and the weather was wonderful. We got neat room with a comfortable bed. The hotel was in a very central setting close to attractions

Their staff were very rude.

the rooms are spotless and airy, the bar is lovely. it offers exceptionally comfortable bed and fantastic services.

The breakfast options were superb, especially the full Irish. Our room was spacious and the shower had great water pressure. Only downside was that the parking was a bit tight. Will definitely return!

We had a great experience at Abbey Lodge! The innkeeper John was a great guy and we loved getting to talk to him and getting to know him. The service was excellent and the breakfast in the morning was the best one we had in all of Ireland during our trip! Also, the location cannot be beat. It's about a 2 minute walk to the town center, including all the shopping, food, and night life, but also far enough away that it wasn't noisy at all- it was so peaceful and we got some of the best sleep of the whole trip here. We would highly, highly recommend Abbey Lodge to any one looking for a place to stay in Killarney!

I liked it.

The location is ideal. Easy walks to the town center and nature spots. Don't miss the tea and coffee stations available throughout the day.

This Bed and Breakfast was one of the best that we have ever stayed at. We would highly recommend this B&B.

Couples Perfect Retreat

The place was quite accommodating. They even helped us settle in after our late arrival, at 9:30 pm. The breakfast was a feast. Huge portions, honestly, I could've just sat there for hours enjoying it all.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but totally acceptable for what we got.

Only 5 minute walk to town centre. Room comfortable and reasonable size.On-site parking.

Tea & coffee making facilities are in the guest lounge rather than in the rooms which means that you cannot make an early morning cuppa. Though, by no means, the most expensive in Kilarney, a similar standard of accommodation is available for less.

Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a fantastic shower that felt rejuvenating after a long day exploring. The location was super convenient for walking to downtown and enjoying all the local nightlife.

Checkout by 10.30 is far too early when one is enjoying a week-end break.
